The Recruitment Commission, deciding on the final list of participants in the doctoral programme, makes assessment according to the following criteria:

  • fulfilling by candidates all the formal criteria allowing to undertake doctoral studies at the Jagiellonian University,
  • the course of studies leading to the conferral of master degree (with special emphasis on academic achievements, publications, conference participation, awards etc.)
  • compliance of the chosen dissertation topic with the subject of the doctoral programme,
  • proposal of the academic project related to the research leading to the conferral of the doctoral degree, supported by an essay on the topic suggested by the Recruitment Commission in the call for applications.
  • 2 letters of recommendation written by scholars holding at least doctoral academic title
  • a certificate confirming the level of proficiency in English (Cambridge CAE, TOEFL, IELTS, only for non-native speaker of the English language).
