The students are obliged to complete an internship at a selected cultural institution approved of by the academic supervisor and the academic board of the institution.

In exceptional cases – with the approval of the director of studies of the Faculty of Polish Studies and the Chair of the Academic Board of the Faculty of History – it is possible to present the dissertation in one of the official languages of the European Union.
The fourth semester of studies is free of charge.
