miniatura Galina Lochekhina became a laureate of The 16th Holocaust Essay Award for University Laureates from the Countries of the Former Soviet Union 10.07.2020 Galina Lochekhina became a laureate of The 16th Holocaust Essay Award for University Laureates from the Countries of the Former Soviet Union This year 16th Holocaust Essay Award for University Laureates from the counties of the former Soviet Union organized by Vebre et Lumier-Vigiliance, the Simon Wiesental Center-Europe and the Russian Holocaust Research Center took place on Zoom, unlike before in the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The Award ceremony was a part of a bigger event - XIV International Conference For Students And Young Scholars "Holocaust - Memory And Prevention", which happened this year in Moscow. We are glad our student ,Galina Lochekhina, took part in the event. Her essay about Anita Panek, a Holocaust survivor and professor emeritus of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, recieved a 3rd prise and is going to be published under UNESCO patronage in two languages: English and Russian.... »
